A little good news

I've managed to keep my morning blood sugar levels under 200 for nearly a month now.  I think two things helped - adding Vitamin D and not eating anything heavy after 8pm.  I do go to bed a bit hungry, but eating breakfast more than before helps me snack less during the day.

So that's something going for me :)

New blog post

It's been rather boring around here.  Which is actually a good thing, after having two teeth removed.  So, maybe I'll work on the yard a tad this weekend, in the morning when it's cooler, and inside the house, organizing and putting things away when it's hotter.

Day 2 of our 21st Anniversary Vacation

Got the GPS thing figured out - as long as it's in "Nav" mode, and not "Map" mode, it'll stay on.

Which is good, because we did a lot of backwoods driving today.  Towns that were just blips on a map, and some, not even that!

We did stop at a dam on the Mississippi river, and a few other places, like Cass Lake, before we made it to the actual headwaters of the river, or as close as you can get without a canoe or kayak.
It was a good thing it wasn't rainy yet, because the road to get here was just sand, not really even a road.  There was a family camped here, and another couple had just loaded their kayaks.  They had a goal to kayak on every part of the Mississippi they could.

We then drove to the official headwaters of the Mississippi.  So, so far, it took about 4 hours to get to the actual headwaters, and another 1.5 hours t get to the official one in Itasca State Park.  We walked through the visitor center, then drove on up to the headwaters, where there were quite a few people and little kids.  We watched a couple of kids cross the river on slippery stones.  Not for us older people!  We did get eaten up by mosquitoes the size of my thumb, though.
After that, it was time to come back to home base.  A long day of driving, ended by driving back in rain and fog, on roads where the markings were impossible to see.  Really stressful.  Going to cap the day with a cup of chicken wild rice soup at the casino, and maybe a little gambling.

Day 1 of our 21st Anniversary Vacation

I'm not really counting Friday, because all we did after I got home from Denver was do some laundry, re-pack and come up to the casino.  We checked in, played a little, and came back to the room.

Today, however - we did a lot of driving.  We drove from Hinkley, MN to Danbury, WI where I got some gas, trying to dodge all the ATV people.  The place was a zoo!

After that, we drove to Hayward, WI where we stopped at the Wal-mart, and I picked up a clip so I could use the phone as a GPS guide.  It took a while to figure out how to setup the phone, but I eventually got it to work.  Except, the screen shut off is limited to 10 minutes, so every 10 minutes I have to touch the screen or I lose the GPS map.  We took a turn at Drummond, WI and drove a county road, where we passed a lot of lakes.  We stopped at the Delta Diner, which was the whole point of this meandering trip (besides the sightseeing).

After lunch, we headed to Duluth, MN, but got on a little detour looking for a historical marker, and ended up at Wisconsin Point, WI.  We got to see Lake Superior from the Wisconsin side at least.
After that little side trip, we headed to the Canal Park in Duluth, and took a little walk on the boardwalk and Tulana did a little shopping.  Then it was dinner time.

We drove down to Superior, and stopped by a candy store, Sweeden Sweets.  They had fudge, and popcorn and sweets and taffy and... a lot of things bad for us. :)  We went there first because they would have closed before we had dinner.  We went to dinner at Shorty's Pizza and Smoked Meats.  I had the smoked meat soup, and it was awesome.  We also had the Thanksgiving Turkey Balls as an appetizer - mashed potatoes, stuffing, and turkey, all rolled into a meatball sized ball, and deep fried, and served with a cranberry dipping sauce.  It was pretty good too!
After dinner, we drove back to the hotel.  By this time, we were tuckered out, so she took a bath, I updated my blog, and started researching for tomorrow's trip.  I'm hoping we can find the headwaters of the Mississippi without too much trouble!

New steps

Well, we did get those delivered and installed on Friday.  I'll share some pictures.  We also went to the movies every day this weekend.  We'll probably do that again in a couple weeks, because there's a lot of movies coming out we want to see.

Did stay home from work partly today, and worked from home in the afternoon.  Had a rough night last night.  Hopefully, I won't have a repeat.

Wednesday, April 29, 2015

Due to a scheduling conflict (they had us down for Tuesday, not Monday), I had to reschedule the steps for Friday.

Ah well.

Planning on going to the movies all three days this weekend.  Really want to get all these in, because lots more are coming, and they're going to push the others out pretty quickly.

Wednesday, April 22, 2015

...that about sums up the last week or so.  Working longer hours (is that because the sun is up longer?), not sleeping well with weird dreams and/or bad sleeping positions - all of it is combining to just make me tired.

I did get a call today that they're ready to schedule delivery of and install our new steps, so I just have to call them back.  So that'll be something.

Then we have to work on the garage and retaining wall.  More fun there.  But at least it will be done, and we'll be a little safer.

Monday, April 13, 2015

Nice weekend

except for the thunderstorm last night, we had a nice weekend.  Saturday I did some yardwork, chopping some more saplings behind the garage.  Both days we opened doors and windows to get some fresh air in the house.

Today I ordered our steps to be replaced, so in about 10-14 days we'll have new steps.  I'll have to take pictures to document everything!

Wednesday, April 8, 2015

Iowa reservations - Check.  Indiana reservations - Check.  Steps Scheduling - Going to do that Friday, when I actually am not in all day meetings (or back to back meetings all day).  New Lawn Service - requested.  These guys will do more than just mow, which is what we need.

Other than that, nothing exciting (except maybe snow on Friday)...blech.

Wednesday, April 1, 2015

We hit some high temps today, and then had thunderstorms about 8pm or so - dark enough to interrupt the satellite signal.  Luckily enough nothing was recording.

I worked some more on our anniversary trip dvd from 2009.  I'm slowly learning new things, like cross-zooms, which is pretty cool.  This tool can do a lot more than what I"m using it for now, and I'm looking forward to learning more. The only issue is finding the time to learn it.

The estimate for the front and back steps came in at around 2500.  I imagine we'll do it shortly, because our front steps are becoming unsafe (and unsightly), but wish it were slightly less expensive to do!

Monday, March 30, 2015

Well, the pain has faded, so there's that.  It did take a lot out of me, though.  Tomorrow, I'm working from home, because I'm meeting a guy who is going to give an estimate to replace our front and back steps.  Hopefully it won't be too much, but it is what I planned on using the Christmas gift for...

I think I'm getting old though - I can't stay up as late as I used to.

Monday, March 23, 2015

First day back

Wasn't a whole lot of fun.  People had scheduled meetings for me, I had a lot of work to do specifically on this day for a few people's projects, and of course, lots and lots of emails.

Plus my stupid head hurts still.  Probably going to have to go back to the surgeon and see if there's a problem with the surgery site.  Don't really want to go back, though :(

Staycation 3

The doctor said it wasn't an ear infection, but an irritated nerve from the wisdom tooth.  So I get to take lot of Aleve until it stops being irritated.  Not exactly fun.

Friday I spent a lot of the day laying on the couch because I was nauseous and light headed.  Thursday I did go to the comic book store after the dr. but that was about the extent of my activities.

Today we went to the movies, walmart for another bottle of aleve, and the cupcake store for a couple of sweets. Pineapple pistachio, and chocolate salted caramel.  I'll have mine tomorrow after my face stops hurting.

Tomorrow I have to do a little work-work in the morning to check on a production release, then I get the rest of the day as the last day of my vacation.  Wish it was longer.

Wednesday, March 18, 2015

Staycation 2

Yesterday I filed our taxes.  Looks like we're going to get a little bit back this year.  I also bought a subscription to Adobe's products, so I will be working on catching up on my dvds.  The last one I did was 2008, so I have a ways to go.  It's actually kind of fun learning some things.

That's part of what I did today - did a couple of tutorials on how to use Premiere Pro.  I also had a guy stop by and look at the work that needs to be done.  He'll be sending an estimate in a couple days.  I will call another guy tomorrow.

I'm wondering if I have an ear infection.  I may have to make a dr appt.

Monday, March 16, 2015

The wisdom tooth extraction pretty much wiped out Thursday.  By Friday, I was feeling well enough to go to dinner with a friend.  Saturday we went to the movies and to the Star Trek exhibition a the mall (a little expensive, but the displays were pretty cool).  Sunday we didn't do much. Today I did quite a bit of things - took the car to get a detailed car wash, put out corn for the squirrels, filled one of the birdfeeders, boxed up another set of comics, and played on the computer.

The weather has been exceptionally nice, but it's supposed to turn cold after tomorrow, almost down to the 30's.  I did plan to do some yard work, but if it's cold and rainy, that won't work out too well.  I do want to call and get an estimate on the foundation for the garage - it has a whole in it.  Not sure how that happened, but it really should be fixed.

Tomorrow, I plan on playing some DDO with my guild, if they're still up to it.

Wednesday, March 11, 2015

Wisdom Teeth

I get to lose another one tomorrow.  I'm not looking forward to it, even though i'm going to be asleep for it.  I am taking the day off to rest up after, so hopefully I can be back on my feet Friday.

Monday, March 9, 2015

I hate them.  Sometimes they just come on during the day, and then hang on.  Like today. Sometimes I get them because I slept funny, and those eventually go away because my muscles shift around and everything gets back in place.

Sometimes they're stress caused, mainly by dealing with people at work. Can't get around that, I guess.

Wednesday, March 4, 2015

I wonder if they're any good.  I guess I'll find out.  I bought a bottle of gummi probiotics to see if they'll help with my digestive issues.

Monday, March 2, 2015

So, yesterday was cool and sunny.  Most of today was sunny and cool.  By cool, I mean high 20's :)  Tomorrow we're supposed to get 2 to 4 inches of snow, and then drop down to the single digits.

By the weekend, it's supposed to be in the 30's.

I'll be glad when the weather calms down so we can get some work on the house done.

Saturday, February 28, 2015

She had to work today, so I spent the day at home.  I watched Chopped and Wicked Tuna, but the dvr messed up, so some of my other shows didn't record.

In the afternoon, I watched the rest of Iron Man 3, Thor 2 and Captain America 2.  When she got home, we stopped by the comic book store, but there was no parking, so we got some dinner at Perkins, did a little shopping at Trader Joe's, then came home and watched a little tv before bed.  Not sure what we're going to do tomorrow. Probably laundry and grocery shopping.

Friday, February 27, 2015

No trip to the doctor at least.  I did take her to work so she wouldn't have to walk much.  Hopefully she can either get in to the doctor or something to make her better.

We watched Person of Interest after ordering pizza for dinner, then we watched The Avengers, and I started Iron Man 3.  I'm catching up on all the movies so we can see the Avengers 2 in May. :)

Thursday, February 26, 2015

Marathon meeting day over.

Not sure what tomorrow holds.  She hurt her knee climbing the stairs, so I don't know if I'm taking her to the dr in the morning or what.  Kind of frustrating because she's been complaining about it hurting, but wouldn't do anything about it, and now that it's in bad shape...

Guess that's what I get for marrying a stubborn woman.

Wednesday, February 25, 2015

The first of two days full of meetings.  I was in one meeting or another till 645 today, so dinner was just soup.  Tomorrow is another meet through lunch day, so I'll take a couple of pb&j sandwiches and let everyone watch me eat.

We just had soup for dinner, and caught up with the Duggars.  Afterwards, I watched Storage Wars and Triple D in the study.

Then it was bedtime.

Tuesday, February 24, 2015

Nothing exciting happened today.  We caught the season finale of Agent Carter, I watched Star Wars Rebels, and I did go to work, but it was a pretty normal day.

Sometimes normal is good.

Monday, February 23, 2015

Stayed home sick today.  Watched a few movies, but basically sat on the couch.  When she got home, we ran to the grocery store and picked up a few things, then watched Gotham and Sleepy Hollow.

Still kind of queasy, but I'll head in to work tomorrow and hopefully just take it easy.

Sunday, February 22, 2015

Another stay at home day.  Although I did start the day by logging in to work and dealing with a few website upgrades.  After that was done, we pretty much watched TV and did laundry.  Much too cold to go out and do anything, so we'll have to do our shopping tomorrow and go to the movies next weekend.

It is nice to have all the laundry done, tho :)

Saturday, February 21, 2015

It was pretty much a lazy day today - she spent most of the day sleeping on the couch, so I spent the day in the office, playing on the computer and catching up on my shows.  I watched Storage Wars, Heat Seekers, Restaurant Impossible, and about a dozen episodes of Chopped.

Well, it wasn't a completely lazy day.  I did do several loads of laundry too :)

Friday, February 20, 2015

Made it up to about 20 today, although we had snow in the morning which made the drive in difficult.

The drive home after work was easy.  Stopped by Popeye's for some chicken and fixings, and watched Gotham, Sleepy Hollow, NCIS: NOLA, and Person of Interest.

That was it.

Thursday, February 19, 2015

You would think that starting the day at -7 and ending at +4, it would have felt warm.  It didn't.

After work we ran to the comic book store and picked up a few things, then Arby's for dinner.

We came home and watched Building Wild, Bringing Up Bates and Cutthroat Kitchen.

Tomorrow's Friday!

Wednesday, February 18, 2015

It was -9 when I left for work, and -1 when I came home.  I thought we were done with the deep freeze, but I guess not.

I had just a simple salad for dinner, since the pizza they brought in for lunch for us didn't sit well with me.  I didn't know they were going to bring in pizza, or I wouldn't have taken a lunch.  Guess what I'm having for lunch tomorrow, though :)

We watched 3 hours of Duggars tonight.  It was a little much, but I could be distracted by playing on the laptop.  After that I watched the finale of Worst Cooks in America and went to bed.

Tuesday, February 17, 2015

It's getting colder, bleh.

We watched two episodes of CSI (Hate cliffhangers), Agent Carter, and then after she went to bed I watched NCIS LA.

Tomorrow the high is supposed to be 0.  I have to take my lunch because I have a meeting bonanza tomorrow, including the lunch hour. Not looking forward to a freezing car after work!

Monday, February 16, 2015

After work, we had to do all the shopping we didn't do over the weekend.  Trader Joe's, Target, and CVS.  When we got home, we just had soup, since I was still not feeling the greatest.  We watched two episodes of Sister Wives (well, I played around on the laptop while she watched them), then went to bed.

Tomorrow's going to be a colder day than today.  When does spring come again?

Sunday, February 15, 2015

Stayed home again today.  She hurt her knee and was having trouble walking.  I played on the computer in the morning and caught up on all my back episodes of Chopped.  Something in lunch bothered me, so I wasn't up to going anywhere the rest of the day.  We watched a couple episodes of Sex sent me to the ER, she watched Ghost Adventures, and then we watched another episode of Shield.

After that she laid down on the couch, and I went into to study to watch Wicked Tuna and rip some CDs we bought on Friday.

Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.  Most of my day is meetings anyway, and I'm hoping non-stress-filled.

Saturday, February 14, 2015

Today was an indoor day.  I played on the computer and watched several episodes of Chopped and Restarant Impossible.  We had chinese takeout for dinner and watched Treehouse Masters, Pioneer Woman, Sex Sent me to the ER, Hawaii 5-0, and another episode of Agents of Shield.

After she went to bed, I started watching The Special Edition of The Return of the King.  I didn't like the treatment of Saruman.  I like the book version better.

Friday, February 13, 2015

We went to the bookstore after work, and picked up a couple cds and a couple movies.  We stopped by White Castle for dinner -that was a fiasco.

We caught up on quite a few of our shows during and after dinner - Bringing Up Bates, NCIS: NOLA, Person of Interest, Elementary.

Tomorrow we were talking about going to the movies, but with it being so cold, we may just stay home, catch up on more tv, do some chores.    We'll see.  We definitely aren't going out to eat or anything like that - we'd never find a place!

Thursday, February 12, 2015

After work, guess what we did - off to the dealer to pick up my car.  Only 135, so I'm not going to complain.  Got the recall taken care of, and should be good for another few thousand miles.

We had leftovers for dinner and watched Gotham and Sleepy Hollow.  I then switched computers and watched Wicked Tuna (well, it was a clip show) and Storage Wars.

One more day of carpooling, and then a hopefully quiet weekend.  Hoping to maybe go see a couple more movies, but it's supposed to be cold again, so we may just stay inside.

We'll see.

Wednesday, February 11, 2015

After work, we went to the dealer and picked up the Element and dropped off the Insight, so they could do a recall fix, oil change, and other stuffs.  Hopefully it won't cost as much as all the repairs to the Element!

We ordered pizza for dinner because we were both tired and didn't want to cook.  We watched Agent Carter, then I watched Cutthroat Kitchen and last week's NCIS:LA.

With all the carpooling, I'm having to get up earlier than normal, which means bed earlier than normal...and I'm still drained at the end of the day.  Hopefully, I'll find some balance somewhere.

Maybe I'll win the Powerball :)

Tuesday, February 10, 2015

No blog update - just a comment.  I am SO tired of winter and snow.

Monday, February 9, 2015

After a pretty stressful day at work, we came right home, had a baked sweet potato for dinner and watched yesterday's recording of the Grammy's.  After that, it was right to bed.

Hopefully tomorrow won't be as stressful.

Sunday, February 8, 2015

Slept in a little bit today, and played DDO after I got up and got moving.  After that I played LOTRO for a bit, till it was time to go to the movies.

We went to the Bistro theater, so we got a little dinner before the movie.  I kind of like that idea.  They come right to your seat and take your order and then bring your order to you.  The movie itself was pretty fun.  Lots of explosions tho.  Seems to be a theme these days.

After we got home we watched the last Librarians episode then headed to bed.  Have to carpool for the next couple of days, till the Element is fixed.

Saturday, February 7, 2015

The most exciting/depressing part of the day today was when the dealership called with the price tag for the repairs/

We did step out and get some groceries, and a few things from Menards.  We caught up on more tv when we got home.

But it's still annoying about the bill.  We won't get the car back till Tuesday. :(

Friday, February 6, 2015

Went to the dealership to drop off the car, and decided to go to Red Robin for dinner.  The parking lot was full.  Went to a mexican place we like.  The parking lot was full.  Tried Snuffy's Malt shop. The parking lot was full.  Drove down the street a ways to a pub we've wanted to try the food at.  The parking lot was full.  Tried Chili's.  The parking lot was full.  Tried Applebee's. Found some parking.

So, since that took so much time, we got home rather late.  We watched Treehouse Masters and Elementary, and then I just flipped channels till bedtime.

And I'm still bummed about the $245 hotel room cost.  It would have been a nice night out, but no way am I spending that much on a single night!

Thursday, February 5, 2015

Was twice as warm today when I left work.  We went to the comic book store, and then we went to Perkins for dinner (I had breakfast).  When we got home we watched Bringing up Bates and Sleepy Hollow.  Then it was pretty much bedtime.

Tomorrow we have to take the Element back to the dealer to fix an oil leak.  They're going to work on it saturday. Fun stuff.

Wednesday, February 4, 2015

Somebody left the freezer door open.  It was 8 when I left work tonight at around 6.  That's cold.  I know it's winter, but still. That's cold.

We made a pasta dish from a place we saw on Triple D, and then we watched Agent Carter, Worst Cooks, and Cutthroat Kitchen.  We watched the last little bit of the Lone Ranger before going to bed.  It's one of those movies you can jump in anywhere and know what's going on.

I'd really like it to warm up now...

Tuesday, February 3, 2015

Not much excitement today.  It snowed, we stopped by CVS for prescriptions, and Culver's for dinner.  Watched Gotham and then it was time for bed (more or less).  Ended up watching The Wolverine, even though we had intended to to go bed :)

Monday, February 2, 2015

Ended the day with a headache.  I think I'm getting what everyone else has, which is not something to look forward to.

We watched Hawaii 5-0 during dinner, then I watched Star Wars Rebels, and a couple Sex Sent me to the E.R.

I really don't want to be sick, especially since I got introduced to the next big project today, which is going to take a lot of my time and attention.

Sunday, February 1, 2015

Super Sunday

Slept in a little bit, but ended up with a headache.  That's never fun.  It was cold outside today - around 15 degrees, so we stayed in.

While waiting for my friend to play DDO, i watched tv - Taco Trip, Restaurant Impossible, Chopped Canada.

After we played DDO, we worked on cleaning out the pantry a little bit.  We had some stuff from 2006 shoved way in the back.  We took a break from that and watched Daphne Dishes America Unearthed, and Elementary.  At that point it was time to start watching the game, so we did.  A couple funny commercials (the Liam Neeson one), but mostly forgettable.

After that, she went to bed, and I watched one more episode of Chopped, and called it a night.

Saturday, January 31, 2015

Before I took the car into the shop, I watched Beat Bobby Flay, Heat Seekers, Triple D and part of an episode of Chopped.  After I got back, I finished that episode and watched a couple more.

Friday, January 30, 2015

Since we did all kinds of running around after work, we got home late.  We only watched Treehouse Masters before going to bed.

Thursday, January 29, 2015

Short TV night tonight: Bringing Up Bates, CSI and one episode of Agents of Shield.

Wednesday, January 28, 2015

Agent Carter, Sleepy Hollow - we watched those together, then I watched Storage Wars and one episode of Chopped.

Tuesday, January 27, 2015

Watched the news, which wasn't very newsy.  Then we watched Best.Burger.Ever, which included one from here, Gotham, NCIS: LA, and Worst Cooks in America.

Monday, January 26, 2015

Forgot - yesterday we also watched Elementary.  Tonight we watched Sister Wives and CSI.

Sunday, January 25, 2015

Watched Chopped - now I'm caught up. We also watched Daphne Dishses, Pioneer Woman, America Unearthed, Gotham, Scorpion, and Sleepy Hollow.

Saturday, January 24, 2015

Before we went out grocery shopping, I watched Triple D, Heat Seekers, Restaurant Impossible.  After we got back, I watched Chopped, and Sex Sent me to the ER.

Friday, January 23, 2015

Watched Chopped, The Two Towers (both parts), a couple episodes of Agents of Shield, Treehouse Masters, and most of The Winter Soldier.

Thursday, January 22, 2015

After I got home from the comic book store, I watched Sex Sent me to the ER (a 'bonus' episode), and a couple episodes of "All About Sex".  Not sure I'm going to continue to watch it.  The commercials made it look funny, but it wasn't that funny.

After dinner, we watched Bringing up Bates, then I watched Storage Wars.

Wednesday, January 21, 2015

Caught up on Person of Interest - 3 episodes back to back.  Also watched Worst Cooks in America.

Tuesday, January 20, 2015

After getting home from a work happy hour, I watched Best.Breakfast.Ever, Star Wars Rebels and Chopped Canada.

I did not watch the State of the Union address.  I have a pretty good idea what the State of the Union is.

Monday, January 19, 2015

Even though I got to leave work early, I didn't watch much tv.  Sister Wives, Scorpion, and Chopped.

Sunday, January 18, 2015

Between bouts of gaming, I watched Taco Time, several episodes of Chopped, Daphne Dishes, America Unearthed, Sex Sent me to the ER, and Worst Cooks in America.

Saturday, January 17, 2015

Before we went to the casino, i watched a couple episodes of Chopped, Beat Bobby Flay, Heat Seekers, and Triple D.  After we got home, we watched Pioneer Woman, Treehouse Masters, Ghost Adventures, Hawaii 5-0, and Sex Sent me to the ER.

We still have quite a few shows in our DVR. May never catch up!

Friday, January 16, 2015

Bringing Up Bates and Elementary.  That's it.  We got home late after running around and having dinner, so we just watched a little TV.

Thursday, January 15, 2015

Two episodes of The Librarians and most of the movie Blade Runner, and called it a night.

Wednesday, January 14, 2015

Watched the news tonight (that's pretty rare for us), Agent Carter, NCIS NOLA, a couple episodes of Chopped and Storage Wars.

Tuesday, January 13, 2015

Watched part of an informercial about a cd collection (we like to watch those and sing along to the songs), Best. Ever (Barbaque), Sister Wives, Cutthroat Kitchen and one episode of Sex sent me to the E.R.

Monday, January 12, 2015

Not much tv tonight. Last half of the Lone Ranger movie, and the last half of "Secret of My Success".

Sunday, January 11, 2015

Watched a couple of older Chopped episodes, the second half of the Bronco game, America Unearthed, Daphne Dishes, and Worst Cooks in America.

Some of those Worst Cooks - I just wonder if they make this stuff up for tv.  Nobody can be that lame.  On purpose.

Saturday, January 10, 2015

After all our running around, we ended the day by watching Pioneer Woman, Treehouse Masters, Hawaii 5-0, Scorpion, NCIS: NOLA, Ghost Adventures, Taco Time, Heat Seekers, and Restaurant Impossible.

Friday, January 9, 2015

Finally.  still cold tho.

Watched Bringing Up Bates, The Librarians,CSI, Elementary, and two episodes of Sex sent me to the ER.  Some of those stories are pretty funny.

Thursday, January 8, 2015

...well, the air temp came up, but with the winds, it was actually colder today.

Watched Gotham, Sleepy Hollow, Beat Bobby Flay, and this week's Chopped.

Wednesday, January 7, 2015

even colder...

Watched the season finale of The Little Couple, and "Best.Ever" - about the best pizza, and two episodes of Storage Wars.

Tuesday, January 6, 2015

...still cold...

Tonight I watched the first two episodes of Agent Carter (excellent show!), Star Wars Rebels, Cutthroat Kitchen, and NCIS LA.

Monday, January 5, 2015

Besides being awfully cold today (and it's only going to get worse - a high of minus 3???)

I watched Daphne Dishes - a new cooking show, Sister Wives (ok, T watched that, and I surfed on the laptop), and an old episode of Ancient Aliens about the Ark of the Covenant.

Sunday, January 4, 2015

Watched a new episode of Beat Bobby Flay, a repeat of Heat Seekers, and some old episodes of Chopped.

Saturday, January 3, 2015

Watched Pioneer Woman, Trisha's Southern Kitchen, America Unearthed, Hawaii 5-0, and the second half of the Fellowship of the Ring.

Friday, January 2, 2015

Today I watched Tango and Cash on BluRay, a few repeat episodes of Ancient Aliens, an old episode of Property Brothers, Bringing up Bates, a show about the HGTV Dream Home, part of a Triple D episode, and the First part of the Fellowship of the Ring, Extended Edition.

The Lord of the Rings is going to be an ongoing thing - there's a lot of hours involved here.

Change in Focus

I'm going to try and blog about "what I watched today".  We'll see if I can keep that up :)

Today, I watched a couple episodes of Chopped, one of Taco Time, Blazing Saddles, the second half of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Pitch Perfect, and Rock of Ages (extended version).
