Monday

Well, the pain has faded, so there's that.  It did take a lot out of me, though.  Tomorrow, I'm working from home, because I'm meeting a guy who is going to give an estimate to replace our front and back steps.  Hopefully it won't be too much, but it is what I planned on using the Christmas gift for...

I think I'm getting old though - I can't stay up as late as I used to.

First day back

Wasn't a whole lot of fun.  People had scheduled meetings for me, I had a lot of work to do specifically on this day for a few people's projects, and of course, lots and lots of emails.

Plus my stupid head hurts still.  Probably going to have to go back to the surgeon and see if there's a problem with the surgery site.  Don't really want to go back, though :(

Staycation 3

The doctor said it wasn't an ear infection, but an irritated nerve from the wisdom tooth.  So I get to take lot of Aleve until it stops being irritated.  Not exactly fun.

Friday I spent a lot of the day laying on the couch because I was nauseous and light headed.  Thursday I did go to the comic book store after the dr. but that was about the extent of my activities.

Today we went to the movies, walmart for another bottle of aleve, and the cupcake store for a couple of sweets. Pineapple pistachio, and chocolate salted caramel.  I'll have mine tomorrow after my face stops hurting.

Tomorrow I have to do a little work-work in the morning to check on a production release, then I get the rest of the day as the last day of my vacation.  Wish it was longer.

Staycation 2

Yesterday I filed our taxes.  Looks like we're going to get a little bit back this year.  I also bought a subscription to Adobe's products, so I will be working on catching up on my dvds.  The last one I did was 2008, so I have a ways to go.  It's actually kind of fun learning some things.

That's part of what I did today - did a couple of tutorials on how to use Premiere Pro.  I also had a guy stop by and look at the work that needs to be done.  He'll be sending an estimate in a couple days.  I will call another guy tomorrow.

I'm wondering if I have an ear infection.  I may have to make a dr appt.

Staycaton

The wisdom tooth extraction pretty much wiped out Thursday.  By Friday, I was feeling well enough to go to dinner with a friend.  Saturday we went to the movies and to the Star Trek exhibition a the mall (a little expensive, but the displays were pretty cool).  Sunday we didn't do much. Today I did quite a bit of things - took the car to get a detailed car wash, put out corn for the squirrels, filled one of the birdfeeders, boxed up another set of comics, and played on the computer.

The weather has been exceptionally nice, but it's supposed to turn cold after tomorrow, almost down to the 30's.  I did plan to do some yard work, but if it's cold and rainy, that won't work out too well.  I do want to call and get an estimate on the foundation for the garage - it has a whole in it.  Not sure how that happened, but it really should be fixed.

Tomorrow, I plan on playing some DDO with my guild, if they're still up to it.

Wisdom Teeth

I get to lose another one tomorrow.  I'm not looking forward to it, even though i'm going to be asleep for it.  I am taking the day off to rest up after, so hopefully I can be back on my feet Friday.

Headaches

I hate them.  Sometimes they just come on during the day, and then hang on.  Like today. Sometimes I get them because I slept funny, and those eventually go away because my muscles shift around and everything gets back in place.

Sometimes they're stress caused, mainly by dealing with people at work. Can't get around that, I guess.

Probiotics

I wonder if they're any good.  I guess I'll find out.  I bought a bottle of gummi probiotics to see if they'll help with my digestive issues.

Weather

So, yesterday was cool and sunny.  Most of today was sunny and cool.  By cool, I mean high 20's :)  Tomorrow we're supposed to get 2 to 4 inches of snow, and then drop down to the single digits.

By the weekend, it's supposed to be in the 30's.

I'll be glad when the weather calms down so we can get some work on the house done.
