Hate mondays.
Used our newest Blu Ray player tonight - watced Back to the Future 1, with the trivia track on - it pops up little tidbits about the film, the story, whatnot while the movie's going. There's also a storyboard track and setups/payoffs track, so I guess I'll be going back couple more times :)

Sunday
Made it to the Hobbit today - saw the High Frame Rate version. Was very different from normal film, more like video.
Stopped by the comic book store, but that was it for our excursions today. We watched a show called 101 Fast Foods that changed the world - it wasn't that impressive about things that changed the world. More like just a list of popular fast foods, and some of them weren't even fast foods.
Played a little LOTRO too. Get to go back to work tomorrow too. Yay me.

Saturday
Slept in a little bit today - thought it would help my back which was hurting. It didn't really.
Played LOTRO for a while in the morning, then we ran some errands - picked up our replacement DVD player, since they couldn't fix it. Have to buy a new dvd too, since they apparently couldn't get it out. Stopped by work to finish burning a data disc, stopped by Walmart to get some groceries, and came home.
Visited a bbq place for lunch. It wasn't bad.
Played LOTRO in the evening and watched two eps of Restaurant Impossible, some Good Eats episodes, and some Property Brothers episodes, and listened to the wife's running commentary about the Vikings game in the other room.
tomorrow the plan is to visit the comic book store and go see the hobbit again. We'll see if we actually can do it.

Quiet day, slow night. Watched Ancient Aliens, an old Jeff Dunham special, and called it a night. Tried to do a little genealogy, but just not feeling it tonight.

Still cold, supposed to get warmer tho.
Got through a bit of work today, managed to feel like I accomplished something.
We watched Person of Interest and Elementary tonight, a bit of the news and that was about it. Still tired, so not staying up till all hours playing games.
Must be getting old (horror of horrors!)

Back to work
still cold, tho.
Most of work today was fixing reports that broke, or updating the 2013 calendar that no one updated before the end of the year, and then running all the reports that didn't run because of the missing calendar. Boring work, really, but needed to be done.
We had a steak for dinner, and I played LOTRO for a little while. I tried to watch an episode of Firefly, but someone had the tv so loud, I couldn't hear the computer right next to me, so I gave that up.
Still not feeling all that great, so it'll probably be an early night for me.

New Year's Day
Played Eve and LOTRO today, for a good part of the day. Also made a quick trip to the store for a few groceries and some more Nyquil. Can go a few hours now without coughing up a lung, so I must be getting better.
This evening we watched two episodes from the new Storage Wars show: New York. I worked some more with the online genealogy while we watched those and an old old episode of Iron Chef America.
It was the coldest day of the season today - kinda chilly even in the house.
