Thursday

More like 'sore' day.  I ache all over from shuffling and moving those boxes and all the other junk.  Work was ok.  A little frustrating, but there might be an end to the frustrations soon (probably to be replaced with others).

After work we ran to the pharmacy and to Target for groceries.  We also got dinner there - some fried chicken and mashed potatoes.  We watched Lost Girl and Pioneer Woman during dinner, then I played a little LOTRO and Eve before bed.

More snow

during the day. I decided NOT to shovel it this time.  it should melt in the next day or so.

Learned that after all that work, we don't need the marriage certificate.  We can use our tax return from last year to prove we are married.  So, it needed to be done (the semi-cleanup of the basement) and it still needs to be found, but at least not right now.  I'm sure when we find it, we'll be smacking our foreheads...

and buying a picture frame :)

Uffda

took about 2 hours to open every box we've put in the basement before 2010, move some around, and get really sweaty and dirty.  Didn't find the marriage license.  Found my old Super Nintendo, my baby scrapbook, my Columbine Choir LP...but not the thing I was looking for.

tomorrow we'll try in the office again.  there were several boxes we didn't look in yesterday where it might be hiding.

Guess we should be like most people and frame it, huh?

Monday again

That didn't take long.  Busy day at work, and found out we have to find our marriage certificate before I can go on her insurance.

We get until Wed night to find it.  After almost 20 years, and countless moves...I have no idea where it would be.

It's going to be a long couple of nights.  We did sneak in Elementary tonight over dinner, but that was it.  Dug through the filing cabinet, an old lockbox in the closet.  Next is boxes in the basement.  15 years worth, roughly.

Ugh.

Super Sunday

Played AC2 and Eve in the morning, then we decided not to run any errands.  I didn't have to shovel, so we just stayed inside all day.

Watched the commercials during the game, and that was about the extent of our day.  Tomorrow, back to work.

Half-done Day

Got up, shoveled, spread ice-melt everywhere, then played Eve until time to go...which was much later than I hoped.  We did manage to visit:
Comic Book Store
Pharmacy
Barnes&Noble
Lush
Calendar Store

We didn't get to go to the movies. It had started to snow again, so the roads were getting slick.  We just came home.  I played LOTRO and she watched some tv.  Tomorrow we're talking about more errands, including movies. maybe.

I'm pretty sure the day is going to start with shoveling again, tho. :(

Day Off

Well, I had plans for doing some running around, but since it was sooooo cold (I think it got to 1 by 4pm), I just stayed inside and tried to stay warm.  I watched all 3 Beverly Hills Cop movies, and played LOTRO. 

We had chinese delivered for dinner, and we watched Elementary.  I played some more after that.

We'll do all of our running around tomorrow.  Supposed to be almost 20!
