Sunday

Rainy day, so we didn't do much.  I played Eve in the morning, then we went grocery shopping at Trader Joe's and Walmart.  We should be good for food for a while.

That took up most of the afternoon.  Afterwards, I surfed for a little bit, then played LOTRO.

Tomorrow is the start of another set of all day meetings.  Well, I guess this is why they pay me the big bucks :)

Saturday

Pretty much a do-nothing day.  I played LOTRO for a good part of the day.  We did some laundry and dishes, watched some tv - caught up on Bones among other things.

Tomorrow going to do some more laundry, get some grocery shopping in, some more tv watching I imagine, and just try to relax a bit more.

Friday

Not much to update - lost internet yesterday so it was a quiet night.  Work today was pretty productive.  After work, we went to Barnes & Noble, and picked up a book or two and a couple movies.  After we picked up White Castle for dinner (which I now regret) we watched an episode of Elementary and an episode of River Monsters.

After that, I played a little LOTRO and headed to bed.  Lots of housework to do tomorrow.  Joy.  :)

Twofer

I was just too tired to post an update last night, so tonight is a twoferone special.  Yesterday at work I spent a big part of the day catching up on emails.  We had a simple supper and watched the season finale of the Duggars, and an episode of CSI.

Today was several meetings, more emails, and back to work on some documentation.  A relatively productive day.  I put some of the trip stuff away when I got home, and we had pasta and tomatoes for dinner.  We watched an episode of Trisha's Southern Kitchen and the season finale of CSI - a cliffhanger of course.

Our dvr is working on finding several repeats of the shows we missed when it froze up, so eventually we'll get caught up, although we'll have to look the order up on line, so we don't watch them out of order!

Home

Finally.  The drive wasn't too bad.  We stopped in Wisconsin for dinner, and made it home by 930-ish.  We didn't unpack much.  saving that for tomorrow.

Did find that the DVR locked up at some point, and we're having trouble restarting it.  I wish things would just work.

Tomorrow is back to work day.  Have no idea how badly things have stacked up waiting for my return - hopefully not much!

Reunion

The reunion went pretty well, I guess - over 50 people showed, and they raised almost $250 with the auction to go towards next year's reunion.

After we got back, I took a nap for a while, letting my cold (or whatever it is) get worse.  After a while, I got up and worked on genealogy a bit, and then played LOTRO a little bit before going to bed.  I pre-packed as much as I could so we're not spending all morning doing it.

I'd be looking forward to going home to my own bed more if I wasn't feeling so cruddy.

Saturday

Very busy day today - went to the Graduation, which was much shorter (and cooler) than the last one we attended here.  Then we headed off to the family graduation party.  After the graduate departed, we hung around and chatted some more - I kind of zoned out as I woke up with a sore throat and a painful cough.  I really don't want to get sick :(

We went to the funeral home, and while the family visited I went to CVS and got some cough drops to help with this cough.

After that, we went to dinner, the wife, her sisters, her mother, and one of the nephews.  I took a 'dad-like' photo :)

We came back to the hotel and she talked to a friend for a while while I surfed the web and then I played LOTRO for a bit.
