Saturday

The most exciting/depressing part of the day today was when the dealership called with the price tag for the repairs/

We did step out and get some groceries, and a few things from Menards.  We caught up on more tv when we got home.

But it's still annoying about the bill.  We won't get the car back till Tuesday. :(

Friday

Went to the dealership to drop off the car, and decided to go to Red Robin for dinner.  The parking lot was full.  Went to a mexican place we like.  The parking lot was full.  Tried Snuffy's Malt shop. The parking lot was full.  Drove down the street a ways to a pub we've wanted to try the food at.  The parking lot was full.  Tried Chili's.  The parking lot was full.  Tried Applebee's. Found some parking.

So, since that took so much time, we got home rather late.  We watched Treehouse Masters and Elementary, and then I just flipped channels till bedtime.

And I'm still bummed about the $245 hotel room cost.  It would have been a nice night out, but no way am I spending that much on a single night!

Thursday

Was twice as warm today when I left work.  We went to the comic book store, and then we went to Perkins for dinner (I had breakfast).  When we got home we watched Bringing up Bates and Sleepy Hollow.  Then it was pretty much bedtime.

Tomorrow we have to take the Element back to the dealer to fix an oil leak.  They're going to work on it saturday. Fun stuff.

Wednesday

Somebody left the freezer door open.  It was 8 when I left work tonight at around 6.  That's cold.  I know it's winter, but still. That's cold.

We made a pasta dish from a place we saw on Triple D, and then we watched Agent Carter, Worst Cooks, and Cutthroat Kitchen.  We watched the last little bit of the Lone Ranger before going to bed.  It's one of those movies you can jump in anywhere and know what's going on.

I'd really like it to warm up now...

Tuesday

Not much excitement today.  It snowed, we stopped by CVS for prescriptions, and Culver's for dinner.  Watched Gotham and then it was time for bed (more or less).  Ended up watching The Wolverine, even though we had intended to to go bed :)

Monday

Ended the day with a headache.  I think I'm getting what everyone else has, which is not something to look forward to.

We watched Hawaii 5-0 during dinner, then I watched Star Wars Rebels, and a couple Sex Sent me to the E.R.

I really don't want to be sick, especially since I got introduced to the next big project today, which is going to take a lot of my time and attention.

Super Sunday

Slept in a little bit, but ended up with a headache.  That's never fun.  It was cold outside today - around 15 degrees, so we stayed in.

While waiting for my friend to play DDO, i watched tv - Taco Trip, Restaurant Impossible, Chopped Canada.

After we played DDO, we worked on cleaning out the pantry a little bit.  We had some stuff from 2006 shoved way in the back.  We took a break from that and watched Daphne Dishes America Unearthed, and Elementary.  At that point it was time to start watching the game, so we did.  A couple funny commercials (the Liam Neeson one), but mostly forgettable.

After that, she went to bed, and I watched one more episode of Chopped, and called it a night.
