Typical Sunday with the Folks :)

Chatted for a while, watched a movie, had pizza for lunch, watched some more tv, played on the computer a bit.

Came downstairs after the news (such as it was), watched another episode and a half of Battlestar Galactica, played some more LOTRO, then called it a night.

Tomorrow is going to be all meetings followed by a happy hour.  We'll see how that goes!

Saturday

Between the plane trip and the heat, I'm exhausted.  I made it to Denver just fine, no excitement at the airport.  Had a relatively long line at the rental car company, but once I got to a clerk, went through pretty fast.

The temp in the car when I got in it was 109.  ugh.

Visited with the family for a while, then had Chik-fil-A for dinner.  Came back, watched some TV, but mostly stayed downstairs where it is much cooler - much more to my liking.  Played LOTRO for a little bit before I learned that I just couldn't keep my eyes open.  So logged off, made this update, and started to get ready for bed.

All Packed Up

I'm ready to go to Denver.  Not so ready for security theater, but ready to visit my family, and get some face-to-face work done with coworkers - much easier than email or conference calls.

Maybe I'll get to take some decent scenery pictures, like of the mountains :).

In kind of a pissy mood tonight, so no updates, no pithy comments.

Tiring Day

I really didn't do much today - spent the whole morning working on an excel spreadsheet, and most of the afternoon working on a word document.  I left work early because, well, my stomach wasn't behaving.

We had steak for dinner, which is usually ok even with an upset stomach.  We watched a little tv, then I played a little LOTRO while watching Restaraunt Impossible.  Then I went to bed.  I have a lot of meetings tomorrow, then I have to meet with the company coming to give us an estimate on replacing the furnace.

Friday I get to pack for my trip.

Yet another day

Another day that went by pretty fast at work.  Had sausage and kraut for dinner, watched a little tv, played some LOTRO, watched Storage Wars while playing.

Below is a picture of the work I'm doing on the alley.  It's supposed to be hot all week, so the rest of the work will have to wait till after I get back from Denver.

The odd colored patch is where the city repainted over the grafitti.  We bought a new can to re-paint the re-paint job :)

The day just flew by

Work flew by today.  I had a lot of varied things to do, and that always helps.  We had hamburgers for dinner, watched a little tv.  I talked to my brother for a little bit, then I played LOTRO till it was time for bed.

Below is a picture of the three trolls Bilbo ran across that got turned to stone.  They are in the game, though if you don't know where to look for them, they can be a bit difficult to find :)
