Longest day yet

just shy of 12 hours today.  whew.  The urgent part is almost over, though (our deadline is 3/1), so I can turn this over to someone else and get back to less urgent/emergency things.

We were both tired tonight.  Since I got home so late, I made my own dinner.  After dinner, I played LOTRO and watched Property Brothers and Restaurant Impossible.  Then I went to bed.

Tomorrow at least I don't have a meeting as soon as I walk in the door.  I'll take my improvements where I can get them :)

Hockey Night

Went to the Wild game tonight - that's why I had to leave on time today (and of course, I didn't).  I swear, I spend more time meetings about the work that needs to be done than actually doing the work.  Can't get the work done if I'm in a meeting talking about it.

I'll probably head in really early tomorrow to get work done before the marathon meetings talking about the work that needs to be done.

Monday (day 8)

8 full days of work in a row.  Actually more than a full day today.  Left work at 630, had another conference call at 8 that lasted till 930ish.

Didn't have much dinner.  I'm thinking my body is trying to get sick, which is never fun.  Played LOTRO for a little bit, watched Triple-D and a Property Brothers and that was about it.

At least tomorrow, I don't have a meeting right as soon as I walk in the door.

More of the same

Another day at work.  Little shorter this time - 9-430.  Watched CSI NY and America Unearthed during/after dinner, then played LOTRO for a bit, watching another Dirty Jobs.

Tomorrow, I start the day with a meeting as soon as I walk in the door, and I'm sure it'll be non stop after that.

Saturday

same as yesterday.  Worked from 9-630.

Stopped by the store to pick up a few groceries, and a couple of things for dinner.  After dinner, I played LOTRO and watched several episodes of Enterprise.

I get to work again tomorrow.

Friday

See "Thursday", except it snowed.  We got about 5-6 inches.  At least it was all fluffy stuff. Still had to shovel it though.

We had a simple pasta dish for dinner and watched Elementary and Person of Interest.  Afterwards, I played LOTRO and watched Ancient Aliens.

I 'get to' work tomorrow, most likely all day.  Lucky me.

Thursday

"See Yesterday"

Well, maybe not quite.  Dentist visit went fine.  Snow hasn't arrived yet.  Beyond that, today was pretty much a copy of yesterday.  Chinese for dinner tonight (leftovers), CSI on TV, played LOTRO after dinner - watched Restaurant Impossible.

Tomorrow is Friday.  One interesting thing about her new job is that she gets paid every other week from me, so every Friday is payday now.
