Love days like these

Played DDO and Eve in the morning, did a little shopping in the afternoon (comic book store and grocery stores), watched some tv with Popeye's for dinner, then played LOTRO before bed.  Just a quiet day.

Of course it helped that the wife had to work, so I had most of the day to myself, but that's nitpicking :)

Brr it's cold

I think it got up to the mid-20's today, but the wind was blowing pretty well, making it feel like it was in the single digits.  That's cold, even without the snow!

Tomorrow we head up north to the casino - free night, so all we have to pay for is the buffet on T-day, and whatever money we want to gamble with.  I'll be taking a book :)

Winter is here

well, Winter weather is here anyway.  Cold, windy, some snow, a little ice.  Guess the relatively nice weather couldn't last forever.

Hope to visit a movie this weekend, but otherwise, we're going to hibernate :)

Time is like a rubber band

Time went so slow this morning.  It wasn't even 10, and it felt like 2.  Then the afternoon flew by.  What a weird day.

Quiet Weekend

Here, anyway.  No tornadoes, no hail, little rain.  We went to the movies yesterday, did some grocery shopping, and I played on the computer most of the day.

Just another 'downtime' weekend.  Next weekend should be too :)

Sick Day

well, not a whole day, but I did have to leave early because my stomach was just not behaving.  I laid on the couch and watched a bunch of 'cutthroat kitchen' episodes.  I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for dinner. Firgured that was a fairly safe dinner.  We watched CSI after dinner - that was a weird episode (the one with the opposite of claustrophobia).

Afterwards, I played LOTRO and went ahead and ordered the expansion that comes out next week.  It includes Helm's Deep - that should be interesting to see how they represent the battles there!

Warmer today

More like fall,  Work went relatively quick today (of course it helped that half the day was in meetings).  Hopefully tomorrow will go just as fast.  It also helps that this was a short week.

Next week is a full week, then we have a really short week.  Now that that pressure is off from the UK project, I can start to feel a little less overloaded.

At least till the next big project comes along.
