Tourist Day

We met up with the newlyweds this morning, and took the long drive down south to Marengo Cave.Well, it wasn't really THAT long of a drive, probably about 90 minutes or so.  We chose the shorter of the tours, the 40 minute, 1/3 of a mile tour, because we're old and have bad knees.  Even so, we were wiped out by the end of the tour.

After we left the caves, we took a short trip further south, and had lunch at the Overlook cafe, which was overlooking the Ohio river, and where we could look right into Kentucky.  I had a hotbrown, but I didn't like the cheese sauce they put on it, so I just picked the turkey off.

After that, we decided to go ahead and come on back up.  We hung out at MIL's house, and then the wife's nephew, his wife, and their new baby came up and we sat in the hot tub for a while (well, not the baby, but the rest of us).  I played a little LOTRO, then called it a night.
